ESN, LinkedIn i posao
ESN, LinkedIn, and Business
LinkedIn this, LinkedIn that (yes, I am rolling my eyes)... I've been hearing more about LinkedIn lately than about COVID-19!
And with that in mind, I decide to research what LinkedIn is, naturally starting with my dearest friend Google. I type the letters into my favourite searching engine and this is what my friend G had to say about it: "LinkedIn is a business social network designed to connect employers and job seekers." I'm not an employer, I'm not looking for a job, it's not like Instagram - so it's not good… At least, those were my first thoughts. However, after a couple of days, an ad popped up (guess what for). For LinkedIn, of course, and I decided to give it another chance.
Thanks to Google for being a bit #creepy and for making me even more interested in this increasingly popular social network. I definitely plan to create a profile by the end of the year and start using it actively next year.
If thoughts like the following went through your head as you read this article: “Why do I need this,” “This is another social network I need to use,” “How can LinkedIn help me in these trying times”; let me introduce you to a few reasons why it is good to have a LinkedIn profile!
5 reasons to create a LinkedIn profile:
- Your LinkedIn profile will appear among the first Google results or immediately after your website.
- During or after your studies, you can present yourself to the business world with your experience, knowledge and skills acquired through work or volunteering.
- You become indirect ambassadors of your company or, in our case, ESN.
- You can connect with other professionals in your field.
- LinkedIn does not contain an algorithm like Instagram and Facebook, so each of your posts reaches your followers, and thus increases the reach and visibility of you or your company.
And finally, with this short (but sweet) blog post, I am opening the campaign "ESN, LinkedIn and business" and I invite you to follow us on all of our social media platforms because we are launching our campaign soon!
