The 2015 SocialErasmus Coordinators Meeting (SECM) is being held in the lovely Croatian capital of Zagreb from the 7th to the 11th of October.
A seventy strong delegation of both local and national SocialErasmus coordinators from all over Europe will be visiting the city to represent their ESN sections. Among them will be members of the SocialErasmus International Team, including Gaffar Rampage as the IB Responsible. The aim of the SECM is to give all SE coordinators the opportunity to exchange function related experiences through workshops and small sessions, and provide a fertile foundation for discussion among participants regarding a variety of topics ranging from local practices to international strategy and project definition.
The theme of the four day meeting will be ecology, and participants will explore the green idea through Erasmus in Schools, a Conference discussion with international panellists, and an environmental clean-up at a trash site in the city. The official partners for the meeting include the Zagreb Tourist Association, Atlantic Group, and the University of Zagreb. Financing for the project was made possible thanks to ESAA and their generous grant.
After organising the Council of National Representatives in 2012 and the South-Eastern European Platform in 2013, this will be the third international event ESN Zagreb is hosting. We are looking forward to another great event with many ambitious and promising young people from all over Europe that will work together towards the improvement of the society.
